During this 3 hour workshop you will learn a The oldest form of Codex bookbinding: The Coptic Stitch Book!

The Coptic Stitch is a very handsome and extremely durable book form, perfect for fine binding and sketchbook making. This exposed spine book is excellent for personal use and a real knockout gift for any occasion!

You will receive hands on education as the instructor Thayer Bray will take you step by step through sewing and binding your own personal journal or sketchbook.

At the end of the class you will have a handmade book that you bound yourself!

This Workshop is $55+$15 lab fee. Lab fees pay for tools and materials.

***NOTE!***

* This is an advanced class.

*This class requires High hand strength and a dexterity. This is not an easy book to make, and those with low hand strength and dexterity will not do well in the class.

*Masks optional

*Children 12-16 must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian. Children 12-17 admission are half price with full price adult admission.

*Passes MUST be purchased prior to the start of class.
