During this month long, Wednesday evening class. (4 days, 2-3 hr evening classes) you will learn make your own pinhole camera and learn basic paper- negative photography!

Learn how to make your own pinhole camera from household vessels, which you will use to take long exposure photographs on paper negatives, which you can use to make contact sheet style positive photographs.

You will receive hands on education as the instructor Thayer Bray will take you step by step through the pinhole making, negative loading, photographing and developing.

At the end of the class you will have a camera you made yourself, plus several hand shot photographs!

Evening 1 : introduction and camera making

Evening 2-3 : photographing and developing, plus experimenting!

Evening 4: critique, feedback, celebrate!

This Workshop is $100+$20 lab fee. Lab fees pay for tools and materials: Plex, Ink, paper, etc.

* This is an intermediary class.

*This class requires moderate hand strength and a dexterity.

*You may be exposed to natural and petroleum solvents in this class. Safety procedures will be followed.

*Masks optional

*Children 12-16 must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian. children 12-16 tickets are half price with full price adult admission.

*Passes MUST be purchased prior to the start of class.
